If you kill someone by dangerous driving its a lot lower sentence than if you killed them without the use of a vehicle. Its also not a case where he intended to kill her so it would't be treated as murder. There has been cases of people not liking that but nothing has ever been done about it.
@AutisticMumTo3 Absolutely. He still shut the door on a woman in her 80s and injured her through his callous actions. I don't see how he didn't notice running her over at slow speed through a giant glass door which would have flashed when it hadn't shut properly. I'd like to see him serve longer. I think reckless driving should be seen as equal to irresponsible use of a weapon. Especially something the size of a bus.

Its one of those things that the govt doesn't care about is my guess & not just the Tories. Nothing changed under Blair's Labour either. I'm sure it came up as an issue during the Blair years too.
