Naksh552007Sad but with a population of 1.4 billion people, roads and residential areas are needed. And being the 7th largest country, India having 71 million hectares of forest land with that big a population is impressive.
Yeah, it will probably work out if all 1.4 billion people all drive alone in a car, occupying at least 15m² each. Needs one more lane, but then traffic will be solved!
I don’t care what you think, but cutting more trees in favor of streets is just never a good idea in this day and age.
Complete information would be to have image of Dusseldorf from before 1990, maybe 70s… there were most probably a lot trees, they cut them to build roads and now they saw mistake and fixed it.
I believe that it is noraml progression and will happen in India too.
You don’t need more roads, you need better quality ones :)
