iwein@CEbbinghaus you are already helping to fix their problems, dear stranger. Thank you for being a kind ally to someone that needs it. If I might make a suggestion: be kind to yourself as well. Remember that if everybody would simply follow your example, the entire problem would be fixed.
@iwein I think that for some / most people change is hard and they are unwilling to accept that. Especially if that change is to their world view. I find this pattern appearing again and again from unwillingness to adopt new software all the way to things like the US south wanting to keep slaves. Luckily there is a cute for this pricular problem and that is time. The most I can do is help others through time until everyone accepts trans rights.
