Sorry, can't help you with testing the Olimex SBC.
However, is there a release note detailing the changes in v6.1 please?
I am running v6.0 here.

There was a fix-commit for a disk.function which also helped to make HEBAS (a special BASIC-Interpeter) completely useable:
