I would just like to note I offered an explanation for "non-human biologics" in my 2010 short story "The President's Brain is Missing." Something to think about when you're wondering if those congressional hearings finally revealed the aliens among us (answer: really probably not, sorry).

Also, you can read the whole short story here:

The President’s Brain is Missing

The question is, how can you tell the President’s brain is missing? And are we sure we need it back?

I thought a lot of the testimony was remarkable. Under oath, no less. That said, I also took note of more than a few weasel worded assertions that had no significant meaning under oath.
A couple were even made by the witnesses--never mind the ones made by the politicians present.
@scalzi Reading that was WAY more fun to do at 7:00 a.m. than what I was supposed to be doing (preparing for my 8:00 a.m. meeting call). Thank you.
Fun story. I hadn't seen this one before. Thank you for posting it!
@scalzi
I never understood why aliens would travel hundreds or thiusands of light years to visit an unremarkable planet only to screw up and crash once they got here.
@scalzi, wow, great story! Thanks for the link!
@scalzi Just read it. I like it. Now if only there were a way ro reconnect some of our politicians to a functioning brain...

@scalzi

How prescient to write a story called “The President’s Brain is Missing” before 2016. 😆

@PeteZ How soon people forget Dubya!

@scalzi

Oh. That’s true. But understandable since Dubya’s stupidity dwindles mightily compared to the stupidity of the orange guy.
