i don’t really care that much about hover flies but one time two years ago one of my friends was ambling around the park and when i asked him what he was doing he said “i’m photographing hover flies. i’ve seen a lot of them today” and now i just photograph hover flies when i see them because maybe i’ll see a lot of them too
