Good night, queen

Sinead O'Connor, dead at 56

@flexghost I hate this so much 😭😭😭
@saltphoenix her 17 year old son committed suicide pretty recently too right? Just wow
@flexghost such a hard blow. I have identified w her struggles in so many ways, this wasn't surprising for any of us, I don't think, but it sure is heartbreaking and also scary, from my shoes. 😭
@flexghost So tragic. She had a hard life. And sure turned out to be right about the Catholic church.
@flexghost

'Everyone can see what's going on
They laugh 'cause they know they're untouchable
Not because what I said was wrong
Whatever it may bring
I will live by my own policies
I will sleep with a clear conscience
I will sleep in peace
Maybe it sounds mean
But I really don't think so
You asked for the truth and I told you
Through their own words
They will be exposed... '

Rest in peace, Sinéad
@flexghost such a loss. 💔😥 Had the courage to risk her career by speaking truth about abused children. And what passionate and fiery music! Time to play some. ❤️
@jamesmarshall she spoke out when no one wanted to listen
@flexghost and she paid the price. And she still had no regrets.

@flexghost My mom lost her ever-loving mind when she saw that on SNL. She isn't just a hardcore Roman Catholic; she is a born-again Evangelical hardcore Roman Catholic.

And she went on for years about that performance.

Never mind the fact that Father Don was molesting the altar boys at our parish and was creepy AF. She would not believe it. Still thinks it was all a misunderstanding.

Sinéad was spot on. Knew it then. Know it now.

@geekgyrl it was that impactful? Good! I can’t believe she did what she did when she did it. Hero.
@flexghost nothing compaires to you!

@flexghost I wrote a script a fate driven love story much of which centers around characters based on myself and a girl I met in a resort like psychiatric hospital (Las Encinas, Pasadena) one of the patients had a fixation on Sinead O’Connor and also Dave Matthews played them both constantly.

Her Number 1 hit, Nothing Compares 2 U, is one Prince wrote that were both covered by other artists he did himself or he wrote for other artists that became hits in that era.

Your script sounds super fun

@flexghost She had a lot of courage.
