Back up often! Your SSD/HDD will die, they all do eventually!
Gallen@leaf Ooof that's a samsung, aren't they supposed to be really reliable? I got WD and Crucial SSDs in my machine, hope they don't go awry!
Personally have my important stuff on the cloud, and every few years I drop a hdd off in another country for backup.

@KozuFox @sequentialsnep mine died because of a firmware issue. Check out the article to see if you have one of the affected models. If yours hasn't died yet, you can update the firmware and avoid this fatal issue.
