TechyDad@RushGirl @QasimRashid I'm wondering how DeSantis and company thinks the slaves would have applied their "skills" for their personal benefit. It's not like the slave owners would let slaves leave to start their own businesses.
Any skills you learn are useless "for your personal use" if you can only do whatever the guy that owns you orders you to do. The slaves could have all learned brain surgery and it would have been useless to them as long as they were still slaves

The problem for Ron is he's entirely to blame for it, by turning FL into some kind of dystopian hell hole comfortable only for white folks. (I'm white, btw)
