Seeing a few posts from a macro artist who's on Bluesky mentioning the site's content filtering AI is super aggressive. Just drawing a paw gets a post flagged as nsfw, and unlike nsfw posts here and ex-birdsite, nsfw on bs are hidden. They say that bs seems more geared towards normies and that artists who do niche fetishes will likely stagnate there due to loss of visibility

@Startide with all the cons for that it still baffles me how many want to try art to go to that instead of all the other things available that.... Welcome kink artists and the like?

@Nomaxice @Startide It really comes down to reach. Bluesky has more hype behind it right now, so artists are banking on it being the platform with the most audience once Twitter has fallen out of favor.

Which is one of the reasons I don't advocate for Bluesky. That and it's too tied to crypto for my liking. Cryptobros are the worst when it comes to tech. Like Hela v. Thor worst.
