Nini@caseynewton That's offering way more competence to him than he has or wants you to think he has. Much like Trump is no grand master of strategy, Musk isn't either as both are driven purely through ego and pettiness and have enough money to fail repeatedly.

The theory describes the maturation of a person. Trump and Musk never left the premature phases. They are still somewhere between Impulsive E2 and Self-Protective E3 (maybe Conformist E4, but I doubt that).
And while Trump has a really low IQ, Musk doesn't. But it is not helping him, because he is a child in the body of a grown, intelligent man.
And he will always be.

@AdeptVeritatis @caseynewton Musk is very much in the Dunning-Kruger space of knowing just enough to be dangerous, usually he has others who are smarter and further along the ego development scale to actually control his worst impulses though and we're seeing what happens without them.
@niniotter people like you love to just reply with "No Elon is actually just stupid," but that doesn't remotely explain any of the deeply political decisions he has made
@caseynewton I never said he was stupid but I did say incompetent, very different things. You can be smart but it doesn't make you competent in some areas... like running a social network.
