I’ve been waiting a year for Element to be more stable so I can invite a lot of people to use it. I have over 100 chat rooms in 20 spaces, but until the product is less wonky and brittle, there’s no way I am inviting more people to it. The Element folks seem happy writing for their enterprise market. The FOSS project moves glacially, and has far too many issues that would drive ordinary users batshit.
