Cookiefiend@dmoser I bought a house 20 years ago and planted four trees on the property. One didn't make it; two provide shade for the front yard and the street. Not a day goes by that my neighbors don't suggest that it would be tidier if I had the big shade tree cut down. It drops leaves. It's so messy. Etc. Meanwhile, they pave their front yards and use gas-powered blowers to clean them.
