Haven't worked with Sourcetree for a few weeks. Just tried to open it and it simply doesn't start anymore. Shows splash and that's it. How?! I didn't even touch the damn thing!

Had to delete some cache file:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree.exe_Url_iksypoc0vscdh5skml2lwon0nfomwyte\3.4.7.0\Composition.cache

Still ridiculous that you even have to deal with this, especially without any error message that indicates what's wrong. Shitty UX.

@dee fwiw I've been really liking https://git-fork.com

@jaeger Yeah, seems like a good replacement. Wanted to check it out for a long time! I'll give it a go as soon as I find the motivation to fiddle with my VCS setup 😜

@dee Sourcetree is product rot incarnate. I know you probably don't want to hear it, but I suggest moving to an alternative and never looking back. It's not worth the energy.

(Personally I use Fork, but there are others).

@zeh Yeeaa, you're probably right. I wanted to try Fork for a long time now, just couldn't get myself to invest the time to switch.
