@CrimsonCommander “I could never, ever, say that out loud.”
@hidewithin "Sometimes, posting some of my less tame thoughts to my social media account and watching my fans lose it is fun though."
@CrimsonCommander “It looks like you have a ton of fans.”
@hidewithin “Many fans. Most of them are decent, but some can be… unhinged.”
@CrimsonCommander “Fans? Unhinged? Never! They never do that.” Sarcasm dripped from her words.
@hidewithin He laughed lightly. “You get it.” Fortunately he’d picked up on the sarcasm.

@CrimsonCommander “I've never had fans, but uh, who are you and why are you so famous? How'd you get so many fans?”

She placed her hands on her hips and tilted her head, her brow raising while she looked WAY up at him. She was only 5 feet tall.

@hidewithin He usually stood at five-eight, but with the two-inch heels from his thigh high boots he appeared five-ten.

"Commander Genesis Rhapsodos, SOLDIER First Class. I gained a lot of fans thanks to my battlefield prowess." A smirk at that.

@CrimsonCommander “So you're a military type. You don't wear anything our military would wear.” She eyed his clothes curiously. “I think I like your style better.”
@hidewithin "Thank you." He grinned at her then, resting his hands on his hips and striking a little bit of a pose. "Stylish AND practical, might I add. Allows full range of motion on the battlefield so I can take down my enemies and look good doing it."
@CrimsonCommander "I am... more than a little jealous, honestly, because no matter what gear I try and wear it's always uncomfortable, or it rides up somewhere, or I get boob sweat, or something goes wrong. I had a fit that I thought was great and then I got terrible wedgies."
@hidewithin “Much of mine is altered from the standard issue uniform. One of the perks of being SOLDIER First Class is that we can modify our uniforms and use our own equipment.”
@CrimsonCommander His job sounds so cushy. Her brows raise. “Is there a con with this job? All I'm hearing are pros.”
@hidewithin “There are a few. As a SOLDIER First Class I do have to attend a lot of meetings. There’s also a lot of admin and paperwork too. And I do also have to fight on the war fronts on occasion…”
@CrimsonCommander “That's the stuff that you do *while* you look fabulous,” she points out, “so that's part of the everyday necessities! Maybe, hopefully, fighting in the war isn't the thing you do as an everyday necessity.”
@hidewithin “Thankfully no. I only get called to the war front if my specific expertise is needed. Most of the time the Second and Third Classes can handle it. Much of my time is also spent training new recruits and picking out good SOLDIER candidates.”
