It will remain a Musk-controlled booster of extremism and enemies of democracy.

And, sadly, Big Journalism will continue to support it.

@dangillmor Many of the articles I've read about "how the Hollywood business model changed, creators have to adapt to new ways" could have the terms "actors/writers" replaced with "reporters/editors" and "studios/streamers" replaced with "major newspapers and networks".
I hope the irony does not escape them...as they tell me about their Patreon or Substack or Twitch.

@dangillmor Bad play for many reasons. One is that he’s forcing every website with a Twitter link to change it to an X. In their evaluation between doing that, putting on a different link, or just dropping it altogether, he’s likely to lose.
