The YouTube algorithm is biased towards content that encourages further engagement, anger causes that, and right wing propaganda is designed to make people angry
Button pushing videos are not unique to one political leaning though. In general, websites will promote/publish whatever the big masses are more likely to click on because everyone’s hustling for ad revenue.
The media is a weird industry. I’m glad my country has a state-funded (but not state-controlled) broadcaster that doesn’t need to sensationalize everything to survive.
