choppingblockIn Persona 5 (PlayStation 3 / PlayStation 4), there is a scrapped mechanic in the game files known as Disguise. By pressing the L3 button, it would have allowed for the player to be able to turn into a Shadow for a time in Palaces and sneak past enemies. This was never properly implemented, but in the expanded edition, Persona 5 Royal, an item known as the Invisible Veil allows you to sneak past ememies, perhaps inspired from this mechanic.
