It (will have) lasted four seasons without him. I liked his character and wish they hadn’t killed him off, but five seasons is a decent run for a show, and I don’t think it’s obvious that it would have lasted longer if he had remained.
I mean it committed suicide as a show worth watching. Thankfully it’s over now.
