I've noticed that lemmy as a whole is much more leftist than reddit (outside of political servers of course) - Lemmy.world

I can’t really think of a reason for that as Reddit is hated somewhat equally by “both” sides of the spectrum. It’s just something I find interesting.

Could be. Drew has also said it, that’s where I first heard it so that’s where I’ve attributed it.

I say this as a fan of Colbert.
