Considering Bud Light, companies seem to have good reason not to test conservative PR.

I can't think of any 'liberal' boycotts as instantly effective.

@Silversalty @marcelias Jason Aldean's video got yanked from CMT. Aldean himself is claiming he's not racist...

@Silversalty @marcelias

I mean every left-liberal boycott I’ve seen for years has been boycotting products or services I either never use or am already boycotting.

@ceartas @marcelias
Uber has been boycotted multiple times. Any effect?
Products of the Koch industry may be too complex to pay attention to but it's still mega billionaire companies. I didn't buy Nabisco products for a time even as I can't remember the basis. Bud Light comparable effect?

@Silversalty @marcelias The Bud Light boycott seems to me to be almost the only conservative success. Evangelicals have been "boycotting" Disney for what, three decades? It's hardly the only thing they have called for people to cancel in recent years as well.

I think the Bud light thing worked (I mean, we'll see if its still a thing a year later) because it's easy. There's only one Disney, only one Target, etc etc. But light beer? Loads of 'em.

@JammerJim @marcelias
I agree. The Kaepernick Nike boycott was a big fail though his career was ended. Even Bud Light may be temp. Dixie Chicks are still with us. Etc. But conservatives do seem to be able to doninate media.
