Greg PakTried Threads again and the algorithm is still terrible. This time it fed me a dozen posts from the same user out of chronological order. Who wants that? Life itself is disorienting and annoying enough as-is. Don't need a social media site making it moreso.
Something else I realized: the unpleasantness of Threads combined with being reminded of the historic awfulness of Facebook/Meta has led me to reduce my Instagram use. Wonder if that's a common thing at all.
Florian@gregpak I never really used Insta, but similarly, the awfulness of current Twitter has led me to reduce my social media exposure across the board.
