@evangreer It took me a minute to find where on the WaPo site they were talking about this, so in case anyone would like it, here's the link:
"Judiciary Chairman Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) has proposed tucking in his STOP CSAM Act, S.1199, which advanced unanimously out of committee in May. It would create a mechanism to let victims of child sexual abuse sue platforms that facilitate exploitation."
@evangreer Markey's office just called back. The staffer said that they couldn't share any information that wasn't already public, so I don't have any real news, but they did listen to the message at least.
