@malwaretech Yeah that was literally a propaganda campaign by health insurance companies. There's a former exec out there named Wendel Potter who talks about how he was involved with the whole "Canada has insane wait times" campaign. They have a group that finds edge cases and odd situations in countries with actual health care, then claims they're standard for all care.
@rootfake @malwaretech The tiny grain of truth is that *some* things have long waiting lists. A Canadian relative of mine had to wait quite a while for a semi-elective hip replacement. But like you said, that is an edge case. Regular medical care is both faster *and* not financially ruinous.
