🏳️🌈🖖🏽The great Tony Bennett has passed away at the age of 96. He was the last of his kind, a master of the American songbook. He may have left his Heart in San Francisco, but he won all of our hearts, from Sinatra to Lady Gaga. Be at peace, and sing to us now from the stars, Tony.
RodneyPetersonTalentAgency@georgetakei On November 29, 2021 he performed his final public performance with Lady GaGa. While he was clearly suffering advanced dementia at that point, nonetheless, by all accounts, he gave a stunning and flawless performance, as if by instinct and memory.
I work in music and collect hit records. While my iTunes music library numbers 40,553 at current, only 30 are Tony Bennett. But it is a pretty good representation of his body of work.
