i just started on my BSD journey, specifically with openbsd (and now netbsd), and i can already tell i'll never use anything else. i used to use windows and big linux distros (ubuntu, elementaryos, etc) and would try to simplify them as much as possible - BSD systems are simple by default. not to mention they're open source (and actively contributing to a better world!)
