I never physically avoided anti-vaxxers. I disagree with their choices and think they are somewhere between unfortunate victims of misinformation and willfully ignorant mass murderers, … but that’s no reason to physically avoid them as long as they are acting like normal people and not throwing a fit in he grocery store because someone is wearing a mask.

The only people that should avoid anti-vaxxers IMO are the vulnerable and maybe their caretakers. The rest of us are generally well-protected by now, I would think.

Is it someone who’s too afraid of a needle and the most tested vaccine ever that they can’t do the minimals for their grandma and neighbour?

Are they proud of it because Mr Trump convinced them it’s a political issue instead of having to admit that they’re afraid of needles and adult responsibility?

Well then they’re shitbags whom I don’t need to hang with. Being proud of ignorance and negligence is a huge turn-off.

Yes, avoiding to the best of my ability. Some of us are or have friends/family who are immunocompromised. People are still dying from COVID even though it’s not front-page news anymore in most wealthy nations. And long COVID is no joke, either — a lot of people have been seriously disabled by it.

Hate? I think that’s too strong a word, but I certainly feel disdain and anger toward them. Safe and reliable vaccines would have been considered absolute miracles in the not-that-long-ago past, but they don’t offer total protection to anyone on an individual basis — it requires widespread adoption. Like it or not, we’re all in this together: infectious diseases don’t give a flying duck about “individual freedom”, and prior to COVID these selfish so-and-so’s undid the eradication of measles in the US.
