@DanMorgan@daringfireball@gruber in Dutch we put “tje” after a word to make it smaller. Amongst graphic designers in the 90s, “appeltje z” was regularly used to say undo in regular speech.
@daringfireball Uhh, wut? I hate windows more than the average guy (haven't used it since 1996 or so), but Ctrl has nothing to do with Windows. It's in fact the "Command" key that bothers me immensely. A change without need and purely to satisfy some aesthetic sense of a cultist.
@baratazana the control key is a big thing on windows, it’s used to perform keyboard shortcuts. The Mac equivalent is the command key. The article is correct.
@Craktok that's not my point. What I said is that the Ctrl key predates Windows by a lot. They just used it and I don't see a problem with that. What I dislike is creating a silly "command key" with an unpronounceable symbol just to be "cool".
