#perl world take note: coming soon, the formerly-dormant perl101.org is going to get a redesign and repurpose.

(Somehow, it still gets 600-1K hits per day. Don't ask me how.)

There's a new look, and in addition to content about actually learning how to use Perl that beginners will want to know, look for news of new releases from the Perl team and CPAN, community news, tips & tricks, occasional humor, and much more.

Look for the grand re-launch around 1 August.

@geekruthie Are you looking for writers?
@profoundlynerdy I could be, yes. Mean to say, I would not be averse to having another writer in the bullpen doing stuff, if they're decent and easy to work with. Guest articles will almost-always be welcome, if they fit in the Standards of Conduct and are a positive thing for Perl and the Perl community.

@geekruthie I think I'd enjoy writing articles about Perl from time to time. Right now I mainly write articles for #Gentoo on their wiki. Some are stubs, others are quite in-depth.

Articles I'm proud of:

@profoundlynerdy You're a fine writer! Keep an eye out; there'll be a "contact/submissions" page on the site, so we can start the conversation about something you want to write.
