@DXMacGuffin alright, challenge accepted.

Sooo, what’s good music, what’s your poison?

Better try it with the music, rarely people get to see and understand my funny side.

@DXMacGuffin

Hahaha, that was easy. I didn’t even get to throw music your way yet to see what sticks.

@AqiDrago

I love progressive metal, and *most* progressive rock. Today I'm listening to Lonely Robot. I just discovered them this week, so I've got several albums to listen to.

@DXMacGuffin

So, I’m just a #CubMetalHead. I still mostly like my metal more melodic even if angry, like to understand the singing. Most of the time, I’m happy when I can sing along loudly even when it goes into more angry screaming.

@AqiDrago

I just noticed you joined yesterday! Welcome! Are you new to Mastodon? Or just new to Metalhead.club?

@DXMacGuffin

Hmm, it’s still my present day here 🙃

I’m newish to Mastodon. I’m part of the November Exodus wave even so I wasn’t even really active on the bird site. I followed George Takai to Universeodon instance.

I can’t believe you’ve missed me. I’ve been active in the Metal hashtags.

@AqiDrago

I presume you know "The Gods Made Heavy Metal" by Manowar?

@DXMacGuffin

Ja, of course. Manowar was my gateway to Metal. My fav album is Kings of Metal.

Heroic & hairy, that’s how I liked my Metal for the longest time.

Plus some Pirate Metal AKA Running Wild

@AqiDrago

Yesss!! Pirate metal is awesome! I have a whole playlist of pirate metal I listen to on September 19

@DXMacGuffin

Aehm why on September 19? Am I missing something here?

And @sariash just pointed Zed Yago out to me again. You probably know them.

@AqiDrago @sariash

September 19 is "Talk Like a Pirate" day

I will check out Zed Yago, I don't think I have heard of them.

@DXMacGuffin @AqiDrago They only have two albums from 1988 and 1989, most songs pirate themed heavy metal. I love them.
@DXMacGuffin @AqiDrago Oh wait, I'm talking nonsense. There are two other albums from 2005 and 2010. But with another singer, I don't listen to them :P
