loriSince people are drudging up old Twitter drama on Bluesky I just want to say on the record that there is no reason to give Elon $8 and "I'm an artist/sex worker/author/whatever and I must give Elon $8 to do business" is bullshit, by the time getting verified cost $8 it was an entirely worthless thing to do and you probably lost more customers who thought it was embarrassing than gained any visibility. Nobody actually needed to buy Blue to feed themselves, and I won't buy into that idea ever.
It is never, ever wrong to make fun of someone for giving Elon $8 and it is only more embarrassing as time goes on and you see how little doing so gets you.
