Wouldn’t a better evaluation of the validity of the DoE’s belief be actually reading their report and evaluating their methodology rather than simply saying their name invalidates their view?

The DoE has a national security and safety mandate. and includes biotech laboratories and covid-19 technical assistance program. Additionally, the DoE has a very well funded and competent intelligence and counter-intelligence agency, responsible for assessing both domestic and foreign national security threats.
