I guess they will have to moderate / censor it this year because I have a feeling huge portions of the canvas will be about /u/Spez

I think that’s inevitable this time. I could imagine they consider a whole new community event this year because of potential protests.
Spez might just axe /r/place altogether, knowing the potential for protest
It would be great if the next iteration of /r/place was just absolutely spammed with lemmy/kbin/mastodon/fediverse/etc logos lol
