teuastSwitzerland’s rural villages are mostly still compact and built around train stations. Just because you’re not packed in with a ton of people and stuff doesn’t mean that the people and stuff you do have needs to be super far apart.
Granted, it is in the US because that’s how we’ve built it. My point is that it isn’t impossible.
I get it. Personally I don’t like small villages but yeah, what they have in the US is not good either (I’m in Italy). My ideal future is few mega cities with everything in it and no need for “cars”. And raw nature outside those
