i exited years ago but I do pay for youtube tho... can't do those ads.
LoafyLemonInstall uBlock Origin on PC/phone and you have no ads, for free.
For TVs and Android boxes there's SmartTubeNext, an alternative YouTube front-end with no ads and a lot of cool features you'd only dream of on the standard ad-filled app.
SmartTubeNext Is spectacular tbh. I expected it to be clunky but no, it works better than the default YT app
