if you read about another country where a former leader was going on trial for crimes and the presiding judge was someone that former leader PERSONALLY appointed and who in past made judicial decisions to protect that leader, you'd say that is a corrupt system. And you would be right. Well that is what's happening with Trump his personally appointed Judge Aileen Cannon.

If the Democratic pundits are to believed, the prosecution is so sure of their slam dunk case that a conviction under a pro-Trump judge is an intentional strategy to negate cries of a "political" railroading.

Unfortunately, we all know from two carefully non-partisan "slam dunk" impeachments that Trump & his base will call any judgement a deep state conspiracy & sham no matter who's presiding.

@DeanObeidallah okay I agree completely, we should have a mechanism for handling that when the judiciary is also contaminated at the highest level.
