Rich countries and the remaining carbon budget.

@davidho

Wow, wow, wow,

is that one aggressive (...and also incredibly skillful).

Looks like we humans share some genes with these. But, there is a difference: We have learned, that we need some ethics.

And, yes, rich countries seem to have forgotten about these.

@davidho my god that dog is such a dick hahaha 😂
@davidho
I wonder if that dog didn't have consistent access to food before being taken in by the shelter

@davidho

That dog is not a healthy dog.

But some humans would aspire to have its traits.

@davidho the wealthy vs the working stiff
@CanadianCrone @davidho exactly! That's how we got here with the carbon budget in the first place

@davidho

It's ALWAYS been that way. The fact that we HAVE a "remaining carbon budget" is because rich countries are controlled by capitalists who don't care about anything other than hyperinflating their bank accounts.

@davidho I don't think we should even talk about a remaining carbon budget since we might have enough CO2 and methane in the atmosphere already to trigger an unstoppable #climatecatastrophe . There is a kind of inertia in all kinds of complex systems, just like a human being (also a complex system) might still live for minutes or even hours after getting fatally wounded.
@davidho We need to stop using fossil fuels almost immediately if we want to stand a decent chance of survival, even if it means the economy is ruined and we'll all be dirt poor.
@davidho “I’m done with the water, but you can’t have any” what an asshole dog
@davidho FACTS.
Also the black, angry husky is super clever by pouring out the rest of the food.
@davidho My kids love this. I could cry.

@davidho @pvonhellermannn

Some corrupt rich people would watch that & think "clever Dog!".
