BurstarWould be nice if we went back to using the AA, AAA type batteries too. I’ve got like 20 rechargables still good and only need them for my controllers and remote. Everything else seems to have done away with them. :(
Not AA/AAA, but a standardized battery sizes/connector would go a long way. Power tools as well.
Going down that rabbit hole, we’ve got piles of old toys/appliances that could be fixed if only they had more standardized parts instead of everyone being able to have custom parts so long as they can do a large enough volume, and if you’re shipping world wide (probably rebranding them in different regions/stores) a lot of companies can do that. I hate to think how much waste is created when one part of it dies.
