Peeps... Mastodon IS hard to use for certain peer groups like journalists for example. That's perfectly normal because they do not engage with social media like.. ah dunno.. you and me? They want to have a search. They require trends. And analytics. You know.. that thing that determines "reach" or "influence". Numbers that go into a chart to justify their invested time.

It's a different perspective. Keep that in mind. Stop trolling em 😉

@bekopharm If the journalists tried it, and then said "This doesn't fit our needs" and left then I'd agree with you.

But that's not what they did. They tried it, then wrote articles about how it is too complicated for regular people, and made predictions that it would die and no one would understand it, etc.

They deserve all the shit they get and more for the things they write.
