Created a matrix keymap of logitech k120 keyboard - Lemmy.world

If any one wants to create a mechanical keyboard and use the controller board of the logitech k120 , there are some extra keys on the keymap that are not present on the actual keyboard but was present in the matrix , like the shortcut keys and the volume up and down keys , as well as the power and sleep keys. Have other mass produced co troller boards been mapped like this?
Dont know to be honest i guess others can be mapprd out too , however i chose this keyboard cuz k120 keyboard design is like 20 years old and plenty available in all over the world so it will be easily replicable .
This seems like an interesting approach to building budget boards, and reducing ewaste at the same time.
