Why Hinduism is most special, because it is more than 10000 thousand years old. This is the mother of democratic ideas, of secularism, of non-violence, of freedom of expression. It is not a religion, it is a way of life. If you are an atheist yet you are a Hindu, if you are a theist yet you are a Hindu, there is no need of any condition to be a Hindu. Hindus worship gods and goddesses even then they are Hindus, even if they don't they are still Hindus.
