@BlackAzizAnansi My ancestors colonized my home country some 5000 years ago (drove out the native hunter-gatherers). Since then they've all just remained fishermen and farmers, mainly (probably a merchant or two in there, too, maybe even a noble). I guess a couple of them did go to Yukon for the gold rush, but my direct ancestors eventually headed back home.
