Those who become Buddhas
- put others before themselves.
Doing so is the secret to their success
- on the path to enlightenment.

Their determination to be of benefit to others
- allows them to accomplish two goals:
they help others, and at the same time, - without trying,
- they achieve their own temporary and ultimate happiness.
