One week ago, a court in California ruled that employers cannot be sued for spreading COVID to their workers due to lack of protections.

This week, In-N-Out banned their employees from wearing masks.

This is horrible.

@luckytran The court found that (under a CA liability law) employers /can/ be sued for spreading COVID to their workers, but only by the workers for the workers' illnesses. The court found that people who get secondary infections - that is, non-workers who pick it up from workers - can't sue.
