God it’s ridiculous how much power we give to banks. If the content is not illegal it should not be up to the payment processors what content a web service can provide.

I think it’s because when it is illegal it’s ultra illegal and ultra terrible. Even then I question how much of it is already pretty sus.

This is a good segue into reminder americans that the “federal reserve” is not a federal bank. The name is an intentional lie. The federal reserve is a group of private banks who make financial policy to the USA while at the same time having NO OVERSIGHT. The federal government cannot audit the federal reserve’s transactions with foreign governments. It’s a big deal that is largely ignored. The american economy is dictated by PRIVATE banks who act in their own interest.
