Gadfly (-booq-)@evacide I once tried to ask the cypherpunks mailing list if they had any thoughts or advice for a friend whose threat model was "my parents, who know enough to be able to install monitoring software on the home router".
Their thoughts were: "why would a kid be threatened by their parents? I'm a parent, and I have a right and possibly a duty to spy on my child's usage of the internet."
