Spoke to a supporter this week who said, "I had a stroke 9 months ago. I'm now disabled & paying thousands a month despite having health insurance. I'm financially ruined."

Of all developed nations, such injustice only exists in the United States. This is the end result of our for profit health industry. Enough.

We Need Guaranteed Healthcare.✊🏽

And when I’m in Congress you can bet I’ll fight relentlessly for it.❤️

@QasimRashid That supporter may well have gotten the stroke as a result of #SARS2 infection. Strokes are unfortunately a common outcome of #covid.

Which makes me ask—were you wearing a mask while speaking with that person? If not, why not? There’s about 1/3 as much virus circulating here in Eastern Washington as there’s been for most of the #pandemic. The #virus hasn’t gotten any less dangerous.
