@Cleopatra @happyborg @briankrebs @malwaretech autism made him do crimes because autism is based and crimes are based. i don't give a shit why he's not facing jail, whatever fucking reason keeps a kid out of jail for the crime of pissing off a video game compnay is reason enough.

@Helmic @Cleopatra @happyborg @malwaretech The defendant in question is the former owner of the Doxbin, which is a doxing and extortion website. His alleged crimes went far beyond hacking some game companies.

Some context on Arion "White/WhiteDoxbin" Kurtaj.

A Closer Look at the LAPSUS$ Data Extortion Group – Krebs on Security

@briankrebs @Cleopatra @happyborg @malwaretech The extortion is releasing source code, extorting large corporations. No customer code or data, as per Microsoft. It's like the definintion of an acceptable target. If anything, I don't think software companies should be *allowed* to have closed source software, so I'm particularly unsympathetic when their shit security results in their software becoming involuntary FOSS lol.
@Helmic @Cleopatra @happyborg @malwaretech I'm guessing you're unfamiliar with the Doxbin I'm talking about.
@briankrebs @[email protected] @Cleopatra @[email protected] @malwaretech Your replies are a dumpster fire 😂. I'm shocked by the number of supposedly intelligent people here saying things easily disproven by a quick Google search.
@Helmic @Cleopatra @happyborg @malwaretech How about hacking police department emails so you can send fake emergency data requests to Apple and Snapchat so you can find someone's exact location. That's okay, too? Because fake EDRs was very much their thing. What about swatting people?
@briankrebs @Cleopatra @happyborg @malwaretech If that was your moral concern with this kid, why isn't it centered in your articles over the grievances of these coroporations over compromised intellectual property? And frankly, still not exactly strong arguments for why he needs to be incarcerated or why there ought to be some sort of moral outrage that the autistics are getting a free pass, a thing we don't actually get as we're far more likely to get mistreated by police for appearing to be lying.
