My parents were at the launch of Apollo 10 in May 69 and I just got a film scanner on Prime Day.

@elithebearded No reason for it not to work. The solution stores the images to a SD card in the unit and does not need a PC to work. 😁

The USB cable draws power from the port. When you select the transfer option in the menu you can mount the scanner as a USB drive.

@jan Hmm. I have a Scanza already and consider it absolute crap. That review is saying the Scanza is harder to use, easier to damage negatives (a legit risk with that), but gives slightly better scan results? Yikes, not for me.
