How do I reset Google #Sitekit in #wordpress, completely?

I've logged into Google Search Console and removed all properties.

I've uninstalled the #wordpressplugin for Google SiteKit and re-installed.

I get Screenshot#1: saying "SiteKit is already setup".

When following the prompt to login to the google account, I get Screenshot#2 saying permissions already exist.

When I click continue: I get an authentication error.

Do I need to clean my #WordpressDatabase?

How do I resolve this issue?

@MindCreatesMeaning generally, you don't. None of that exists on the WordPress side of things, it's the Google side of things.

You are authenticating to Google servers and setting up various Google accounts, and that has nothing to do with WordPress. That plugin allows you to easily go through the motions of setting it up, but you're setting it all up on Google's systems.

In the world of software as a service, you generally cannot uninstall it or start from scratch.

@otto42 then how does one get sitekit to work again? I’ve reinstalled the plugin. I will add the domain property back to the associated google account in search console. But I’m still going to be stuck with the authentication error. I have full access to the google account and search console - adding the property happens without a hitch - yet there’s still no working solution I’ve found. What steps do you recommend?
@MindCreatesMeaning I have no idea. I do not use the plugin myself. The best I can suggest is to ask them on the support forums because I know they have support people there that answer questions.
@otto42 okay, thank you for your insights.
